To conclude our Science unit on Living Things, each Year One boy applied his learning by creating an informative written text and designing a detailed habitat diorama to showcase his chosen living creature. These final projects demonstrated not only the boys’ growing scientific knowledge but also their creativity, writing skills and ability to communicate key information clearly and thoughtfully.
To celebrate their learning, we hosted a Living Things Exhibition, proudly welcoming parents, peers, buddy classes, and members of the school leadership team.
Classrooms were transformed into mini museums, filled with colourful displays, carefully crafted dioramas, and confident young presenters eager to share what they had discovered. It was truly heartwarming to see the boys speak with such confidence, clarity and pride, answering questions, explaining processes and reflecting on their learning journeys. Their excitement was infectious and the event was a wonderful celebration of their hard work, curiosity and growth throughout the term.
We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and sincerely thank everyone who took the time to visit and support our young learners. Your presence made the experience even more meaningful.
