On Tuesday February 28 the Year 1 boys & Teachers together with the Outdoor Education staff ventured to the Belair National Park for our first Outdoor Education experience. Excitement levels were high as we boarded the bus for what was going to be a great day out exploring our local environment. We were fortunate enough to be in the capable hands of the Outdoor Education team who had meticulously planned and prepared our activities. We set off in our classes to visit the Echo Tunnel, the Playford Lake and a highlight of the day, the Adventure Playground.

We were very surprised and excited to see Mr Browning and Mrs Taylor who had come to join us on our adventure. It was great to see a koala sleeping in a tree. We learned a lot about koalas and their habitat from Mr Sharp. It was an impressive effort from the boys who walked approximately 10 km throughout the day, embracing the experience. Thank you to the Outdoor Education team for coordinating this fabulous experience. Your energy and enthusiasm for the outdoors is commendable and very much appreciated by the Year 1 boys, staff and their families.
