On Monday of Week 1, the 2025 School Leaders gathered together in Big School Room to participate in a Leadership Session. With the support of Mr Eaton and Ms Christensen, the students were able to connect leadership to the St Peter’s College school values of truth, respect and service. Students reflected on how to promote respect and a positive sense of community within their leadership areas.
They were asked to find strategies to bring together all students in pursuit of putting in their best effort towards a common goal, even those students that struggle to leave their comfort zones. Students ended the day working in groups to brainstorm their 2025 goals and working through scenario questions designed to challenge their leadership skills. It was a wonderful afternoon where the students were able to work together to make a positive impact on the SPSC community.
