Recently, our Year 3 students lit up the Memorial Hall stage with their highly anticipated Year 3 Concert. This was a wonderful display of classroom learning and the String Immersion program.

The concert featured our Year 3 students and guest ensembles, the Preparatory String Orchestra and the Preparatory Choir. Many thanks to the parents of these ensembles for giving up their evening so these ensembles could perform.

We extend our thanks to the dedicated staff who made this event possible. Ms Sharon Campbell, our inspiring Strings Coordinator, deserves special recognition for her outstanding leadership. Ms Katie Carey, our highly skilled class music teacher and choir director, played a vital role in preparing the students for the concert. Thanks also to Ms Georgia Gamble for her exceptional work teaching the lower strings and Ms Anthea Charlton, our Administration Coordinator – Junior School Music.

It was delightful to see the Year 3 classroom staff join with the Year 3 orchestra and perform ‘Ode to Joy’.

Together, the students and staff created a truly memorable evening, and we are so proud of what they achieved!
