Our Junior School had our wonderful Years 5 and 6 Rock Bands competing at the annual Battle of the Bands competition on Wednesday 18 June. The event was hosted by Nazareth Catholic College.
The evening was full of high energy with 11 primary schools entering the competition – every performer from each school gave it their all, presenting amazing performances. The Nazareth auditorium was full of excited performers along with their cheer squads of parents!
The adjudicators for the evening were Travis Dragani, Jeff Oldfield and Racheal Leachar.
The St Peter’s College rock bands performed exceptionally well. We were very proud of our boys with the Year 5 rock band placing second in Division 5 and the Year 6 rock band placing with an Honourable Mention in Division 6.
Congratulations to both bands and their directors, Mr Greg Wain and Mr Janetto Nikolakopoulos.
