Support Project Quick Start
Since its first boat club was formed 165 years ago, Rowing has been a source of pride and tradition at St Peter’s College. The expertise, commitment and passion invested by our School community into this program reflect its significance to both current and past families. Through this dedication, we have achieved consistent success in nurturing young men and establishing the School’s reputation in the sport, both locally and nationally. Many of our rowers have gone on to achieve remarkable success on the international stage.
To sustain this proud tradition, SPSC has launched Project Quick Start, a perpetual funding initiative designed to ensure the systematic renewal of our rowing fleet on an estimated 15-year cycle. Each cycle requires approximately $3.0M in revenue, equating to $200K per annum. (This plan focuses exclusively on fleet replacement and does not encompass the full financial needs of the program, such as training equipment, coaching resources, or maintenance of the Finniss and Boat Shed facilities).
With the support of our Rowing community, there is an opportunity to significantly accelerate this renewal plan.
We invite you, as valued members of our Rowing community, to contribute to Project Quick Start. By doing so, you will help bring this vision to life ahead of schedule, ensuring our student rowers continue to benefit from a high-calibre program. Any support you can provide will make a meaningful difference to our rowers and the broader school rowing community.
Project Quick Start is being run in collaboration with the Australian Sports Foundation to ensure all donations are tax-deductible.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our Rowing Program. Together, let’s keep the legacy of SPSC Rowing thriving for generations to come.
