Earlier this year, we launched Project Pitch In to renew the centre wicket blocks on all our major ovals, with guidance from Adelaide Oval’s Head Curator, Damian Hough. It was a memorable moment for our cricketing community as key supporters, students, and staff gathered to ‘turn the sod’ and mark the beginning of this significant project, starting with the Main Oval.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the redevelopment of the six main cricket pitches is now well underway. To celebrate the progress, we’re excited to share some time-lapse footage, capturing the transformation as it happens. You can watch the progress unfold as we work to ensure our student cricketers, and the broader St Peter’s College cricket community, have first-class facilities to enjoy for years to come.
While the project is progressing, there’s still an opportunity to make a lasting impact. Donations are still welcome, and your support will help secure the future of cricket at SPSC for generations to come.
